The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry inaugurated the Second Edition of its CEO Breakfast Meeting Series for the year 2016-17 this morning at the Taj Gateway, Marine Drive, Ernakulam. The first in the lecture series was on Enabling the Ease of Doing Business in Kerala “ Imperatives in the Changing Scenario . Mr. Prasad Unnikrishnan, Director “ KPMG, the speaker at the session, stressed the need for reforms in the state to enable the ease of doing business here and outlined the various initiatives being considered by the Government in this regard. Mr. Unnikrishnan said that the present Government had taken cognizance of the issue and was exploring all avenues to ensure that there is ease of doing business in the state. This, he said, would not only help the businesses & industry already in Kerala, but would also make Kerala a favoured investment destination for the future. Mr. Shaji Varghese, Chairman, CEO FORUM & President of the Chamber welcomed the gathering and Mr. V. Venugopal, Vice President, proposed the Vote of thanks.
