The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in association with the Asian School of Business, Trivandrum organized a Workshop on Finance for Non Finance Managers  from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at Hotel Abad Plaza, M.G. Road, Cochin, on the 25th of February 2016. Mr. Shaji Varghese, Vice President “ CCCI, welcomed the gathering and introduced the speakers. The faculty Dr. Gopalan Srinivasan and Prof. Nalayiram Subramaniam gave an overview on the fundamentals of Business Finance and accounting principles which will aid business decisions while understanding its financial implications on a day to day basis. The workshop which was attended by 30 participants from various corporates in Kerala involved case studies and group exercises which in turn helped the participants interpret financial information which will enable more effective coordination with their respective finance departments.
