The Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with the Competition Commission of India (CCI) organised a Seminar on Competition Law Compliances by Enterprises . This was conducted at the PGS Vedanta Hotel, Kaloor on 31st October 2015. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India(ICAI) partnered in this programme. Mr. Sudhir Mital, Member-Competition Commission of India was the Chief Guest. He spoke on the role played by the CCI in ensuring healthy competition among Companies and the relevance of complying with these rules. Mr. Sukesh Mishra, Director (Law) Anti-Trust Division, CCI and Adv. P. Gopinath Menon, Partner, were the other Speakers. The Chamber President Mr.C.S.Kartha spoke at the Seminar. CS S. P. Kamath, Chairman, Kochi Chapter of ICSI delivered the welcome address and CMA Sankar Panicker proposed the vote of thanks. Nearly 80 Members from the partnering Associations attended the Seminar.
