The Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly with Asian School of Business, Trivandrum organized a Full Day Workshop on The Importance of Business Etiquette in a Global Environment  on Friday, 9th October 2015 at Hotel Abad Plaza, M.G. Road, Cochin. Prof. Naresh Warrier and Prof. Nagendranath Thirukode from the Asian School of Business were the faculty for the session. Mr. S.P. Kamath, Executive Committee member, Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry delivered the Welcome Address & introduced the faculty for the session. The faculty detailed on the importance of a professional social behaviour today as the global business continues to expand. The ability to manage and do business with people from different countries is no longer just a nice skill to have; it is a necessity. The workshop covered topics like Doing business in a multicultural environment, understanding and appreciation of different cultures and the importance of customs and values and their impact on doing business, Cross cultural or inter cultural communication, Learning the skills of proper etiquette, Appearance and behavior etc. The programme and was attended by more than 40 professionals.
