The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized a Half Day Workshop on Recent Amendments in EPF  from 2.30 p.m. “ 5.00 p.m. on Friday, 26th June 2015. Shri. N. Gopalakrishnan, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner II (RPFC), Cochin and Shri P.V. Joseph, Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner were the faculty for the session. The recent amendments and initiatives in EPF schemes by Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and its impact on employers and employees was the focal point of the Workshop. The objective of the programme was to apprise people of the recent developments and initiatives taken by EPFO such as Unique Identification Number (UIN), online payment of challans, Payment status updation etc. The Session was attended by more than 100 participants and was followed by Q&A sessions where the participants clarified their queries with regard to the latest amendments.
